Qualifications and Licences:

  • Drivers Licence (and the ability to confidently drive manual)
  • White Card
  • Training at a level of Cert IV or higher (WHS and/or Training and Assessment preferred)
  • First Aid

Key Requirements:

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS 4801
  • Experience with conducting internal audits
  • 2-3 years work experience in a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in computer and systems
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Passion for the environment, positive attitude and good work ethic
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel around Sydney
  • Experience in employee relations will be an advantage

Key Duties

  • Maintaining and improving the Dragonfly Integrated Management System and reporting on performance to management
  • Perform incident investigations and monitor company nonconformances through online tools
  • Coordinate with the HR Manager on actions involving incident management and hazard reporting
  • Travelling between sites and head office
  • Provide regular performance reports to the Quality Manager
  • Promoting our positive Dragonfly culture and initiatives at all times
  • To coordinate and manage many routine safety, quality and environment related tasks
  • Carry out internal audits against the Integrated Management System in timely manner
  • Share learning’s with the broader business in regard to Safety and Environmental management
  • Deliver site inspections and close out diligently
  • Establish and maintain the Integrated Management System throughout the business consistent with the company objectives
  • Take whatever action is necessary, consistent with company policies and procedures, to achieve
  • Quality, Safety and Environmental objectives across the business
  • Maintain the company Risk Register and update as hazards are reported
  • Maintain the company Training and Qualifications Register
  • Ensure workers are trained and inducted in compliance to the project specific requirements
  • Promote continuous improvement of system performance
  • Recommend and develop systems that focus on behaviour-based safety
  • Enforce system procedures and perform routine checks
  • Ensure communication of health, safety, environmental and quality issues to management, employees, and clients across the business
  • Ensure policies, regulations and procedures are adhered to and compliance is monitored
