Attendance records

Attendance records (log books or sign-on forms) are used to record the names of volunteers attending each work day.

The information recorded normally includes the date, names, hours worked, signatures and work tasks.

Tip

The information on attendance records will come in handy when you need to calculate the number of hours worked and in kind contributions by volunteers for reports, grant applications and evaluations of volunteer involvement
