A message from Volunteering Australia

Volunteering Australia congratulates the Volunteer Co-ordinators Network (Natural Areas) on the development of this comprehensive manual for not for profit organisations running long-term environmental volunteer programs. As a best practice guide, the VCN has incorporated the eight critical standards from the National Standards for Involving Volunteers in Not for Profit Organisations, which are applicable to organisations across all sectors that involve volunteers. This manual will be a great resource for involving volunteers in environmental programs.
