Permit system for volunteers working in bushland

Hornsby Council
www.hornsby.nsw.gov.au

Hornsby Council uses an identification card to certify that the volunteer has completed the Bushcare registration and introductory training requirements. Volunteers who have a laminated permit are authorised to carry out work on Council land as part of an approved project.

There are also Probationary identification cards for volunteers who are in the process of completing the Bushcare registration and introductory training requirements. The volunteer is not considered fully registered and authorised until they complete certain requirements.
