Experienced Bush Regenerators and Team Supervisor

Terra Australis Regeneration P/L is a family-run business which has been based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches since inception in 1999. Our area of operations is small, allowing us to focus on quality sites where we can make a difference to our natural environment and provide local employment. Opportunities for experienced bush regenerators and a team supervisor are now available at Terra Australis Regeneration P/L.

 What you can offer us:

  • a keen interest in preserving and enhancing the natural environment areas of Sydney, with previous experience
  • tertiary qualification in bushland regeneration, natural area management, ecology or equivalent such as a TAFE Certificate III or Diploma in Conservation & Ecosystem Management,
  • demonstrated awareness of work health and safety;
  • ability and willingness to perform primary clearing work, as well as fine hand weeding on a variety of sites;
  • the ability to perform hand/power tool operation;
  • scheduling and operational experience desirable;
  • demonstrated reliability which can be checked through references; and
  • the ability to work well with other team members.

  • the flexibility of working 21 to 35 site hours per week in beautiful surroundings
  • normal working hours from 7am to 2.30pm, with flexibility to fit with outside commitments
  • casual hourly rate from $35+/hr depending on previous experience and skills

The teams manage bushland sites in the LGAs of the Northern Beaches, Willoughby and Ryde which you will need to consider if applying from outside of these areas.

Immediate start available after a few days’ trial, or after notice period worked, if required.
