The Third Edition of the SER Standard- Now Available 

The third edition of the SER Standards is now available.  This edition introduces more rigorous measurement and clearer performance thresholds, expands guidance across the full project cycle, and aligns more closely with global policy frameworks.  Principle 4 will be of particular interest to AABR members as it now includes addressing degradation drivers and a more in-depth explanation of working with ecosystem resilience, which is now defined more clearly. 

Tein McDonald, one of the document’s authors, reports that it is likely that the revised international version will trigger minor revision of Australian National Standards later this year after collaboration between its 13 Australian partner organisations including AABR.
