Description

Envite Environment is a not-for profit organisation delivering bush regeneration and ecological restoration services in New South Wales since 1993, with recent expansion to Victoria and Queensland. Our experience, knowledge and expertise has allowed Envite Environment to gain a reputation for delivering natural area restoration services to a high standard, on time and within budget.

Our organisation has the capacity to deliver quality environmental services with a range of community, industry and Government partners. A high level of technical expertise combined with practical skills and experience enables us to deliver the following services:

Bush Regeneration & Ecological Restoration

Our teams of professional bush regenerators are experienced in restoration of diverse ecosystems. Envite Environment works with appropriate licences in habitats of threatened species and Endangered Ecological Communities. All bush regenerators have Conservation and Land Management Certificates and are ChemCert qualified. They are experienced in chemical, biological and manual weed control techniques. Our teams are appropriately equipped to undertake large scale projects.

Project Planning, Assessment, Mapping & GIS

Our organisation can develop a range of tailored plans (including Vegetation Management Plans) to guide project implementation. Plan development includes site assessment and surveys, mapping, ecological restoration strategies and techniques. Costing of plan implementation can also be provided.

Seed Collection Propagation & Revegetation

We are able to implement revegetation/planting projects for a range of purposes - landscaping, green spaces, habitat corridors, riparian health and improved land management. We can undertake seed collection and propagate native plants in our nurseries.

Large Scale Infrastructure Landscaping Projects

Envite Environment has a demonstrated capacity to implement large scale infrastructure landscaping and biodiversity offset projects associated with highway upgrades, developments, compensatory habitat and other projects. We are also experienced in specialist services such as endangered plant translocation.

Flora, Fauna & Habitat Surveys

Envite Environment is equipped to undertake targeted, systematic or opportunistic flora, fauna and habitat surveys. We have capacity, equipment and experience to incorporate mobile GIS, GPS or drone (aerial survey) technologies to map weeds, habitat, threatened species, infrastructure and other site features.

Training and Mentoring

We can develop customised workshops and training in bush regeneration, plant identification, plant propagation and related themes for a variety of audiences including landholders, industry employees, Landcare volunteers, Indigenous groups, schools and others.

Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation

Envite Environment coordinates all aspects of natural area restoration projects. This includes project development and planning, liaison with stakeholders, coordination of on-ground works, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and administration and financial management. We provide services in planning advice and assessment related to biodiversity impacts and development applications. We can manage planning approval compliance requirements, such as compensatory habitat, restoration and threatened species translocation and monitoring.
