UPDATE:

If you’d like to learn more about what’s involved in being an accreditation assessor join us on Zoom 12/10/23 – 6-7pm- REGISTER TO ATTEND

AABR is looking for experienced, accredited bush regen practitioners to become assessors for AABR’s accreditation program. This volunteer role is a perfect vehicle to support the next generation of bush regenerators and give-back to the bush regeneration sector.

We are looking for assessors across NSW, Victoria and Queensland and a supportive mentoring program is provided to guide you through the very clear and standardised procedures.

As AABR looks to expand the accreditation program as our contribution to the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration more assessors will be needed.

AABR’s purpose is defined by providing education and support for bush regenerators so that optimal outcomes in bushland management can be achieved.

The foundation of AABR’s resilience-based approach to restoration are 12 competencies that define the field-based knowledge and expertise of the practice of bush regeneration. (Link to competencies)

AABR’s accreditation program is a well-respected process that allows bush regeneration practitioners to be recognised for their unique skill set and understanding of the 12 competencies.

To support the process we need more Assessors.
