Do you use the National Restoration Standards for your contract management? Craig McGrath,  City of Yarra’s Biodiversity Officer does, and he’ll be sharing how he aligns his awarded contracts with the National Standards for the Practice of Ecological Restoration.

Inspired by the SERA National Standards, the City of Yarra overhauled its bushland maintenance contract to incorporate the Six ‘key principles’  underpinning strategic assessment of urbanised bush sites. Ongoing refinements of a customised phone/field app has provided real-time feedback supporting contractor responses and expanded monitoring detail to align with 6 main spokes on the Progress evaluation ‘recovery wheel’.

Craig’s 20 minute presentation will precede the AABR Vic AGM, and all are welcome to attend the AGM and the presentation.
