Korinderie Ridge Regen Week
August 6 - August 10
The Korinderie Ridge community looks forward to welcoming new and returning volunteers to be part of Regen Week – which is held over 5 days on a multiple occupancy forested property, adjacent to Bundjalung National Park and near Evans Head Northern NSW.
Each morning you will join with Korinderie Ridge residents in small teams with a skilled team leader to remove Lantana from the property’s conservation areas for 4 hours. In exchange, the community provides all of your delicious meals, bushland campsites, hot showers and free afternoons for sightseeing, relaxing, or taking part in optional nature and conservation based activities.
What do I need to bring?
Meals, campsites and all your regen equipment is provided. All you need is:
- a tent (some van sites available – see below)
- practical clothes for Lantana control – long pants, sleeves, hat, sturdy shoes
How difficult is the Lantana control?
Lantana requires a reasonable level of fitness – an ability to walk on uneven ground and bend and pull. You have a choice to join a team that matches your abilities and needs – if you have any questions see contact below. The combined effort of community members, volunteers and contractors has completed the majority of the primary work over the last 21 years! Primary work is still needed in some fertile rainforest gullies and there is always plenty of follow up to do.

Detailed directions to the property will be sent following registration.
